Hello,

I have an 57 2.2 CTDI and the heater seems to take ages to warm up, admittedly I live less than a mile from work but other cars seem to warm up faster.

How long does your heater take please?

:)

About 5 minutes (also 2.2 diesel) - and this is longer than my driving to work, thank God (and Honda) for heated seats

Remember that diesels take a little longer to warm up than petrol versions so that could be a contributing factor.

My 1.8 warms up in about 5 minutes but, I too, am thankful for heated seats :)

A/C on automatic is good but sometimes it's good to press the windscreen demister for a couple of minutes if in a rush. That's what I do, anyway :)

4 to 5 minutes to get belching some proper heat out.

I used to have leather seats on my 1.8 and worshipped them in the winter. Would love to have them back right now.

[Conbrue] does have an 'EX' - so it does have 'voice-activated' controls ! ...

Failing that, manually select the 'demist' setting \ max. temp. \ max. fan speed - reset to "Full Auto" when the screen is clear ...

Well thats certainly not true, my Civic diesel takes the same time to warm up as my Golf IV 1.4.. It warms up very quickly compared to my grandpa's Seat 1.9 TDI!

As before -use these voice controls :-
(First, 'toggle' the second lowest switch on the steering wheel) ...
" Climate Control - Defrost " ...
Once screen is clear, use :-
" Climate Control - Full Automatic " ...

For manual operation, press the 'windscreen' symbol at the top of the round manual fan control, then press the section just below (to get max. fan) and set the temp. to 'HI' ...
