Hi all,

My beloved Civic isn't starting and I think the battery might be flat.

I've borrowed a charger off a friend, but silly question, how do I hook it up?

That's what the battery looks like. I was hoping there'd be a picture illustrating where to put the red clamp and where to put the black. No such luck though!

The car is a 2007 Civic Type-S 1.8 petrol. Can anybody point me in the right direction?

Take the battery out of the car bring it inside the house. Take the red clip on the charger (+ve) and connect it to the positive + terminal on the battery. Take the black clip on the charger (-ve) and connect it to the negative - terminal on the battery. Leave to charge overnight.

Scrap that, managed to get the battery out! :)

It's now in the kitchen being charged, going to leave it overnight and give it a go in the morning. Fingers crossed.
