hi guys, I was trying to take off the battery and start doing some job under bonnet, but once I told the battery negative pole off, the alarm speaker just start beeping ...

so does anyone know how to disable it? I am not sure if it is a alarm since I was using my honda stock Fob key to lock and unlock the car.... but I found it have a speaker under the bonnet and seem like a immobilisers under the desh on the driver side!

and is there any way I can reset the ECU ? how long I need to disconnect the battery in order the ECU reset? or any fuse I can take it out for reset... thanks

That sounds like an after-market alarm. The stock alarm siren isn't under the bonnet, IIRC it's somewhere in the rear end.

5 mins with the battery off should reset the ECU, but I don't think that will help.
