When you've uploaded the attachment, copy the URL to that attachment and then surround it with [ img][ /img] tags in your main post.

Okay so, upload an attachment, like the one below.

Underneath the post it has the link to the attachment, copy the URL of this link.

Put the link in image tags and it will appear in the post.

Quote this post and you will see the tags.

If I quote your post, I get:

[IMG] [url]http://www.civinfo.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=83038&stc=1&d=1357619106[/url] [/IMG]

You want to remove the [url] and [/url] tags and get

[IMG]http://www.civinfo.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=83038&stc=1&d=1357619106[/IMG]

Edit: For some reason the forum adds in a space that I cannot remove. "13576191 06" above should be "1357619106".

easiest way to upload pics...

upload as normal, then type your text.....then click on the little paperclip (this can be seen even if your not uploading pics) at the top, the image tag will appear and then click on it and it will appear under your text.....and you can do this for multiple pictures :D

If I do that, I get this:

that is true syx....i did say it was the easiest way :)

if i need to do a bigger pic i use imageshack and do as you described, but people can click on your image to make it bigger, maybe someone more computer gifted than myself can work out if this site will host larger images?

I'm guessing it's because there are spaces around the URL?
