How to remove panel between breaklights?

Hi. I would really like to change my red prespex panel between the Beak lights to a black Type R one.

Ive tried searching for threads that show how to remove it, but i havn't had any luck.

Has anyone got any idea?

Thanks.

You will have to remove the two small plastic panels in the boot and unscrew the blazer (the Perspex panel) there's about 6 or 8 if I remember rightly - was a while ago! You will need a socket set - they are M5 (8mm).

I did see some nuts on the back and thought they would be the ones, but wanted to make sure. There are two lights in it aswell. do these come off with the panel, or do they stay on the car?

Thanks

Hi buddy to help you,
If your car is one of the first edition, including the rear foglight in the central panel so it will be different from the R one, if you have the second edition one, with longer rear parking light; it is the same disposal as the R one, the fog light is in one of side panel on the boot!!!

To remove, you have like 14screws to remove, four on the center and about five more on each side!! As there are small extension on the panel, you have to unscrew the first screws of the side panels, on the boot.
When, you have every screw out, you have to unplug five switches if you have the updated rear panel or six with the old one; one on the center for the boot openning and four others which are the two parking lights and two plate light bulbs and the fog light if you have the old one.

Then a good change, the sidelights if you have the old version which is yellow and go for clear ones as new version or type R.

And now an advice, for me, where did you get the type R one as i am looking for one since a while and it is a bit expensive in France, like 350€

Thanks for the help guys. Ive had a go at removing the nuts. I just cant get to the furthest one on the side. And one under the plastic panel. The only way i can see to remove them is to take the whole plastic panel on the inside off. Any suggestions?
