Been the new owner of my 2007 Type R GT for the past 2 months. Love the car and what a pleasure to drive, not as quick as loads of 2 litres but love it. Had the 2 front disks and pads replaced on guarantee as one hell of a judder when braking at high speed. My consumption went from 20 mpg up to 32 mpg in town after having all my sensors reset. I must at some point downshifted into the wrong gear and apparently to save the engine all sensors go mad or something and I ended up with a horrid juddering, not all the time, but around 2500 - 3500 rpm. I was under the impression it was my MAF sensor but was proved wrong. Also had my clutch master cylinder replaced and what a difference it makes.

Apart from religiously waxing the car weekly I want to perhaps smooth out the airbox as it is a bit of a boost and want to keep the car stock standard so not sure if smoothing out the airbox is a good idea.
