well not 1 reply
I went to visit them today
and very nice people
responded to every email I sent them unlike some other honda dealers
were very honest even before I viewed the 2 cars I went to view
only time will tell the rest but im picking up a 65 plate 1.6 civic next Monday
totally different to deal with compared to the sales man I tried to do a deal with at Lloyd honda in Carlisle which is much closer to me than Grierson&graham

didn't exactly get the deal I was looking for but did get a little off the car which apart from a little lacquer off the wheels looks to be absolutely mint

sad to see my old 2.2 work horse finaly go but it is time to change
also test drove a 1.8 very low milage but was surprised how flat the car felt unless you reved the thing

It's good to hear that there are still some good dealers around.

So you're moving on from your 2.2, did you not try any of the 'modern' engines? - 1.6 or 1 litre? I'm sure the 1.8 will serve you well tho, enioy.

im going for the 1.6 9g not the 1.8
was tempted to ask for a test in the new car red 1.5 se plus in showroom was real nice car
sales man said the 1.0t is faster and more powerfull than the old 1.8
but im not 1 for test driving cars im not looking to buy
don't see the point in wasting there time and mine
didn't drive the cars too far but 1.6 diesel is great from low rev's pulls as good as the 2.2 id say

Well done finding your new car! The 1.6 is well-liked by owners so you will enjoy it :)

I have the 1.8 and have had the new 1.0t as a courtesy car - it is not as fast as the 1.8, just look at the bare stats for confirmation of that (slower 0-62 time and I think 126hp for a heavier car).
