Springs : I actually like the slightly (5mm) 'arse up' OEM stance, which the Eibachs retain, but if you want 'flat' then it would be the Teins ...

Shocks : I have the Koni FSDs, and combined with the Eibachs, I'm extremely happy - however, as they were fitted at the same time, I can't say which part does what ! ...

And if you are going to lower it, then wheel spacers will help fill the arches very nicely indeed (lot cheaper than new wheels \ tyres) - for a Type S, I'd say 15mm all round ...

However, the shocks don't affect the height, so just springs and spacers should be fine ...

Have just fitted Eibachs, lowered by 30mm. It looks good & the ride is a little firmer but it is definately less crashy and the body roll is reduced too! Highly recommend it!
Did you fit the Eibach bump stops as well or just use the originals?

Springs for my 2.2 type s anyone? Want to lower it about 25-30mm. Would rather have the back slightly higher up tbh if possible. And roughly how much am I lookin at paying? Cheers
Eibachs - they keep the original stance - standard is about 25mm, but ABP Motorsport supply 'specials' that go lower still - 2.2 & 1.8 part nos. are different ...

About £140 to buy, and the same again to install ? ...

Sorry to steal the thread here... but thinking about eibachs for my type s too. I had them on my astra and couldn't fault them. I had the sportlines which gave me a 50mm drop at the front (extra few mm drop thanks to the heavy engine) and a 30mm drop at the front. I kinda like the low front-higher back look so I would consider them for the civic too. I've been having a nosy on evil-bay for some and most seem to be for the type r, so will they fit the type s too?
