Just as a hyperthetical exercise, someone gives you £20,000 and says all you can spend it on is modifications, so no worrying about debts etc or using it to buy a different car.

What parts would you buy? Would you go for a colour change?

funny enough I was thinking last night "what would I do if I won the lottery" and this was the answer:

Let Paul build the fastest meanest street legal FN2 :D:D

Everything I've done so far I'd do again, which runs to about £4k including labour and some bling.

I'd probably go for a Toda exhaust and Mugen intake with garnishes though.

I'd add a Toda header, big brake kit, the GP front and rear spliters, Mugen wing, some lightweight wheels, some FD2 cams, go SC with some bigger injectors and fuel pump if needed.

All in that's probably around £15k all in.

I'd keep the colour because I like it, but I might get a respray just to improve the paint thickness.

If I had money left over I'd probably get a carbon bonnet and some lightweight carbon bucket seats.

Money gone!

- Spoon Modded Diffuser: £700
- Titanium System: £1.5K

- Cage: £1.5k
- Braces: £500-600
- Steering Wheel/Boss £400-500
- LSD £1.2K
- Edit: Endless/Mu BBK. £2-3K

Breakdown with rough guestimate prices including labour and assuming you are starting on a standard car so no work is repeated:

Stage 2 FRSU (inc Eibach springs) - £480
Stoptech BBK upgrade - £1,500
Spoon or Mugen Rad/oil caps - £100
Earthing kit - £35
Bulb + HID upgrades - £150
Toda/FD2 balancer shaft delete - £1,000 (approx obviously dependent on which option)
Toda exhaust - £ 1,100
Toda manifold - £1,500
FD2 cams (not including mapping as will be done when all in) - £900
GP front and rear splitters inc fitting - £800
Mugen wing - £1,600 (approx)
Lightweight wheels Volk C28Ns plus some decent rubber - £2,600 (not copying off Typeriter, it's these or Rota P1s but since budget allows)
LSD - £1,200 (thanks Typeriter forgot about that)
CT Super charger, injectors, fuel pump fitting and mapping - £4,000+
Respray in AS - £1,200
Carbon bonnet - £900 (ish)
Carbon Seats - £2,500 (Spoon maybe?)

All comes to £21,565, so Volks substituted for Rotas, bonnet, seats or respray may have to be sacrificed.

Respray, ten coats, mine looks like a spotty teen:( A few engine tweeks,clutch,...maybe put it on air?just to give it a bit of a stance when you park up:cool:

Id do exactly the same as I have so far along with

Rotiform 3pc split concave BLQs £2000 (painted of course)
Air ride £2000
BBK £1500
RRC/TodaTB/Toda header/ FD2 Cams/Balancer kit + hondata £6500
Seeker wing £1000
Status Racing Harnesses £900
Js Racing Bonnet £650
Smoothed bumper £300
Mugen Grill £500

Shoudl leave enough for a respray to freshen the paint

I would sell my car and buy an EVO. :rolleyes:
Did say you couldn't buy a different car with it. It would have to be on modifications to your car

Hmmm would go a little like this.....

air ride suspension

Type R kit (GP splitter) carbon wrapped

pear white re-spray

carbon wrapped bonnet and roof

BBS LM's 18"

stick a k20 in it :D

Type R seats too
