why cancel manually ? or is this more a lane change indicator issue that your not used to.....
Indicator stalks annoying
Is it just me or does anyone else find that the indicator stalks results in you giving a wink to the car behind when when cancelling manually.

The short answer is, no! I've never had this problem at all... to cancel manually I just give the stalk a push and it cancels. I've noticed this on several cars often thought I was seeing things. Indicators dont always cancel automatically due to the road layout so manual cancelling is sometimes necessary.
Perhaps a couple of times during 2 years of ownership.
Not really a problem at all for me.

Not sure what you mean actually? Mine don't seem to have a problem.
I think the OP means when he manually cancels the indicator, he pushes it too far and the lane change function indicates the other way (flashes 3 times).

the wife's mazda 3 does this but you sort of adapt the technique soit doesnt happen. never happened on the civ.
Try the indicators in a BMW then you'll know what annoying is.

Can't say i've ever had this problem. Now drive a Vauxhall and your head would explode if you find the Civic annoying. They don't self cancel.
I tend to just use the 3 flash not the full click down.
Yeah I normally use 3 flash for lane change, don't need to bother with cancelling.
Have not had a problem with BMW stalks either.....(with my prev 3 series)
