Please can some one advice or provide a step to step guide on how to install an aux output in my honda civic hatchback 55 plate 2006 model?

i don't think there is an auxiliary ( line out ) output on the stock player of a 55 civic but you can sort of botch one by using a high to low level converter from the speaker outputs but this means either tapping into the connector on the back of the player or wiring into the harness that goes to the speakers

some people have done this to get audio to a sub or stand alone amplifier and it seems to work others just replace the head unit for a better model with more features

Excellent reading skills I have. :rtm:

In that case, as suggested above, use a LOC connected to the front (I assume you want it at the front) speaker outputs from the headunit.

Did this myself but using the rear speaker cables for my sub and it works fine.
