So my A/C was intermittently working and cutting out after 15-20 minutes and blowing warm air. Decided to read up on here as to what might have caused the fault and I replaced the relay.

Tested again and no change after the same amount of time it cuts out and requires me to wait before it will work again.

On the advice of a mechanic friend I replaced the pressure sensor. (Note: Totally not a good idea on our cars as it's on the high pressure side and there is no valve to stop the gas escaping as was originally thought).

Had the system degassed this morning and drove for 15-20 minutes and the bloody thing cut off and started blowing warm again.

So decided to try one las thing and replaced the 40A fuse for the radiator fans and now the fans stay on when the A/C is set to Auto and the A/C works perfectly.

Now what I need to know is:
Is the radiator fan behaviour normal? A/C on auto and fans are on permanently.

When AC is on the rad fan(s) do tend to run near constantly.

The sensor/wiring on the lower part of the rad has been known to cause the fans to run too. Worth a quick check.
