Just wondering if a MY10 Civic Type R's standard USB input charges/plays/controls an iPhone 5 like any other iPhone/iPod

I'm aware that the dock connector has been changed on the iPhone 5 and Ive heard that in some cases it looses functionality when linking it to peripherals.

has anyone got any experience with an iPhone 5 in there CTR (facelift model)?
:)

Thanks

In my 56 Type S using the Apple adaptor the iPhone 5 works through the stereo and I can skip tracks using the steering wheel controls. Also charging works. This is with the cable version of the 30pin to Lightning adaptor.

I would assume that if it works on the 56 plate it should be ok on yours. I have the honda iPod connection.

Nice!
What about changing the track via the steering wheel?
Exactly the same, the coolest thing is if you use the iphone 5 as a sat nav and have it plugged in, it plays music and then gives the directions over the speakers.
