Hi all
I have bought some DLR lights to fit to my recently bought Civic.:grin2::grin2:

I have a 1.4 Petrol vtec on a 10 plate and wondered if the DLR wiring would be fitted to the loom as standard or whether i need to wire them independently if you get my meaning ?

Any advice would be gratefully received?

Regards

JonB

ps
Happy new year all>:)>:)>:)>:)

it became law for them to be fitted from i think it was 2011 but for some reason new cars still came without them for a while
so maybe it was cars actually built after that time rather than sold new
so i would think yours would need to be wired unless the wiring is the same across the range world wide as other countries had them a couple of years earlier

DRLs are a legal requirement for all new car types approved after Feb 2011. However, any types approved before this date could continue to be built and sold without them.

Thanks all for the replies! Looks like I'm going to have to try and find a way of getting ignition power to run the DLR lights.....:frown2:
