I wonder which Jazz model ?

The MK1 Jazz is the cat theft target as it's slung underneath and easy to access. From 2008 Honda put the cat high in the engine bay.

The MK4 Hybrid Jazz key fob can be turned off to prevent relay theft.

I suppose these figures are in proportion to their numbers.
There are 340K Honda Jazz in the country, 1.5 million Ford Fiesta and not mentioned in the most stolen list the Honda Civics at 368K.
Why are the Jazz so popular?

Jazz have massive cats on them, and expensive spares compared to the GM and ford junk on the list would be my guess.
No French stuff on there which I’m surprised about.

From 2008, no Honda didn't put the expensive catalytic converter up in the engine bay out of the way, the just added the 'cheap' one up top at the rear of the engine and left the most expensive one right at the bottom as an easy peasy target for scumbag thieves to merrily chop off. My wife found out to her dismay in an empty town centre car park as she left work and went to go and start up her 2012 Jazz.

What did the police do about it? Nothing. The thefts are still going on in the SAME car park. They prefer to go after easy targets instead.

Anyway I fixed the issue by not bothering fitting a secondary catalytic converter. It now has a link pipe instead. If there's no catalytic converter there, they can't nick it, problem solved.

Do I care that it's decatted, not one bit as the law enforcers prefer to dish out crime numbers instead of doing something about it.

@Kremmen the same thing that I was! 🤣🤣

Number 1 on that diagram is the secondary catalytic converter. The one the scumbags chopped out
