Thought I'd start a project thread on my NHB FN2 GT, which will be a demo car for the company I work for, Jap Performance Parts/Carbon (JPP/JPC).

I picked the car up for a tidy sum with only 32k miles on the clock:

Within 2 weeks of ownership, we were already removing the Fuel Cap (without damaging any of the clips):

As per my newbie post, we can refinish any non-porous trim/material in a wide range of finishes. So within the next 7 days the cover will be back, and I'll update this thread.

In the meantime, I added a Mugen Oil Filler cap:

Took delivery of a MR JP's HID kit today, 55W 6000K with additional side light bulbs, which I will be fitting tomorrow:

Just had news that the Flap is done and will be ready either tomorrow or Thursday. Will also get some proper photo's of the car up soon.

Is that an official Mugen Oil cap? No snobbery it's just the unofficial ones have been known to explode in your engine bay as they can't take the pressure like the proper Mugen ones.

Understand where your coming from, but it's 100% genuine. Everything we remove from our breakers is genuine.

Firstly I apolagise for the quality of the photos, but works been so hectic I can't bust the SLR out until tonight/tomorow/Sunday (delete as apropriate).

May I introduce my new Carbon Effect Fuel Flap...

May I remind you this isn't a vinyl/sticker or a wrap. It is a chemical process that refinishes the trim in an effect, which is then hand polished to bring you what you see above.

I'll get some better photos of the car and the carbon flap up as soon as possible.
