Hi,

Ive noticed that sometimes my civic seems to accelerate a bit jolty i.e. it backs off first before moving forward.

Any suggestions how to fix it? The air filter is dirty and a new one in the post

cheers

Is the car standard? I had something similar with mine and it was cured after a remap

Not seen someone "Kangaroo" away from the lights before? It's quite a common term round this way!
Guess it has a more local and relevant application for you though ;)

Never heard the term "Kangaroo" used as a way to define acceleration.
It's a UK thing lol... Learners are great at it :)

What do you call it in Aus?

Back on topic... I find my 1.8 judders when pulling away when it's damp outside and -0, but I think this to do with the engine mounts.

same here, when the engines cold just take it easy, like Parsco said, just take it easy until its nice and walm.

I have read posts about this before on the forum and alot of people have this (Problem) symptom when cold, I might be wrong but I don't think it's anything to worrie !
