Hi Guys,

Just a short thread to say thanks to everyone (users and traders) who tried to point me in the right direction with my annoying kangaroo jumps.

After the new manifold, exhaust and map the car is now running really well, nice and smooth and no jumps at all!

As Colin would say "Happy Days"!

Nice one Dave...can I ask what it got on the dyno? & what was causing the kangerooing?....without causing arguments..(I personally thought a dodgy sensor or split in a hose somewhere before anyone thinks im hinting at other stuff)

I will post the graph once he's emailed it to me. I've no idea what was causing the kangaroo jumping, Romain said there was nothing major wrong with the map that he could tell from doing a data log (the map was locked) and he said even with the jumps the car was making very good power. The valve clearances were all checked and found to be exactly what Drag Cartel specify and I swapped the intake pipe for a new one. All that leaves is me swapping the RSK for OEM and then the Tegiwa causing problems with my map.

I've got a decat pipe coming in 3 weeks from J's - That'll change everything again!
J's racing decat? Didnt know they did one... Only knew of Jperformance Decat (which I have)..

You got link?

Also thought you were getting a manifold fitted? What one did you get?

It was only made on Friday, theres a pic on my build thread of it.

I've got the J's manifold, but its only a short one that retains the cat, its not a long manifold like the CPL or Tegiwa.

What may I ask deterred you from the Toda manifold? You obviously had the money for it. Was the MOT situation or something else?

Also where and for what price (if I can ask) did you get the J's decat. Looking on touge they dont seem that expensive... (going off other J's decats :D)

I was originally going to get the Tegiwa, but then the J's came up and I wanted to try something different. I think the decat pipe is about £300 including shipping, VAT etc...
