Hi I was driving my car to work for about 20mins then the stereo switched off including the dvd drive in the glovebox. When I parked up and went to open the doors the switch that opens the doors wouldn't open the doors and the key fob won't lock or open the doors anymore. Everything else still works like folding mirrors lights etc. I only have 1 key so can't check with another.
Hi thanks for the reply. I checked the door lock fuse and it wasn't blown but changed anyway and the door button is now working but only when the key is in the ignition. Also a red light comes on where the temperature gauge is for 3 seconds the goes off.
I know the SatNav/Radio fuse is one of the 7.5 jobs. It's highlighted in Pottsy's wiring in a Snooper post.
If you have had a few fuses blow then maybe water got in somewhere or a connector has worked loose at the back of the fusebox?
Only real way to check quickly is a multimeter as the fuses have an external check 'dot' so you can quickly run along the banks. Also make sure the engine fuse cover is tight.
I was thinking the same kremmen I'd do a continuity test across all the fuses using the check dots as so many of the electrics are linked it could be anything ?

You could be right. I had the heko rain deflectors on the car and was getting a lot of condensation on the inside of the windows since fitted. I'll check all the fuses tomorrow. Also is there a fuse for the alarm can't seem to find it in the manual. Thanks
Oh the backup fuse is also connected to the cigarette port where I had my phone charging and my phone lead not being in the best of conditions must have blown the fuse
