Ok so I have a knock sensor fail EML what's the best way to replace it? In from the bottom or some route through the top? Anyone got a guide?

Can see the sensors are not too expensive.

Any tips welcome

Car is off the road till sorted, MOT expires tomorrow.

So finally got round to doing this over a mates pit. After removing the undertray had to support the engine and remove the front lower crash bar, only need to do the bolts on the end as it moves enough to get your arm in then, old sensor fell off in 2 bits, was a propper bugger to get it out and a new one in so tight with no space. Not sure if it's any easier than going in from the top tbh.

Cleared the EML will see if it stays off as it was a cheap sensor. Hopefully it will last!

Hello mate, I have to tackle this meself soon, as mine has gone. Interested to know has the light stopped off with the replacement of a cheap sensor?
