Hi folks, I'd like to do my fronts (headlamps, fogs and indicators) in the subtle tint lamin-x film.

My question is for those people that have tinted their lights with this stuff... did you take the lamps out of the car before doing it or did you leave them in situ?

I know how to pop out the indicator lenses and the fogs, but the headlights I'm not too sure on - can anyone give me any pointers before I get some film ordered?

Also, does anybody know what's the minimum amount of film I can get away with to cover the front lights?

Headlights (indicators included) are 12x28" You do not have to take out the headlights, works just fine like that. Personaly i took out my fogs because you need to get around the corners.
