Hi
My driver side leds in my wing mirror indicator have died, it’s not a fuse or wiring fault it’s the leds they was basically dying as only half was on and now there all out so I’m looking at modifying the wing mirror indicator and if i don’t like it afterwards I’ve only lost -£10 and a faulty indicator so worth a go imo.

Anyhow.... I fancy the idea of the Audi style moving indicator look so i was thinking of gutting the inside of the dead indicator on the wing mirror and fitting a DRL strip inside it along its edge, I’ve tested it out just via wires on 12 volt and it looks okay.

If i wire it for up by taking my feed off the original wing mirror wiring ( won’t be powering them too as plug will be off ) would this work ? Or am i looking at problems with maybe a flasher relay flicking power on n off for standard led [smilie=hrmm.gif]

These are what I’ve got and this is for just wing mirrors so I’m not after touching the main rear or front indicator setup... https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/192751675588
