I have a bad clunking noise from my civic; I paid Honda £56 to look at it and found...........nothing wrong with the suspension etc!!

They say the Gear Box top mount is little loose, it COULD be this!! Not very helpful I wanted a proper diagnosis for that money but hey.

Has anyone had issue with this before, if so would that make the clunking/knocking noise?

If it helps I will let you know all the parts I have had replaced afterwards (all on both sides front);

1. Wishbones

2. Tie Rod Ends

3. Lower Ball Joints

4. Shock Absorbers

5. Stabilizing Link

Front engine mount if its a type r, look if the rubber in side as come loose.
