Hi everyone, apologies if this is covered in another thread which I've not yet found...

I've noticed in the last month or so, that when I'm accelerating/decelerating through the 15-20mph range, there's a low noise vibration, which seems to come from the back half of the car.

Though you know how it is, sounds don't always originate where you think they do, so it could be anywhere!

I only ever notice it in this speed range, and it can be when in 2nd or 3rd gear... Any thoughts?

It just came through a MOT/service recently and nothing was picked up then.

It will most likley be your rear heat shield come lose, the low rev range will cause it to rattle, look under the rear and press your hand on the heat shield and see if it rattles.

Interesting, would never have thought about that! Will have a look later... And google for exactly where that is :)

Thank you!
