I have a 57 ES without the Sat Nav unit. Recently had a Parrot CK3100 fitted to the car, and use this mainly with a Blackberry 8100. However, when cruising at high speeds, for instance on the motorway, I struggle to hear the other person, even though they can hear me fine. The volume is on maximum level, but the levels are very soft. Has anyone else experienced this?

One thing I have noticed is that a Nokia phone I have doesn't seem to suffer from the same issue, but then the Nokia's always seem to have higher volume levles generally.

I've got a Parrot MKi9200 paired with a Sony Ericsson (read HTC) Xperia X1 - and I've not experienced any issues, however I don't have a blackberry to try with mine.

Is your phone on the officially supported list on the Parrot website?

The other thing I can think of is googling 8100 and CK3100 and see whether others are having the same issue, and potentially if they have found a solution to it.

I take it adjusting the volume on the handset makes no difference? and have you tried looking through the bluetooth device configuration on the blackberry?

Thanks Dave, I checked the compatibility list before getting the Parrot installed, so it should work. I've also tried googling this, and not hit on anyone else with issues.

There is one setting that I am going to try on the BB, but I think my IT dept have locked me out of this menu at present. It talks about the default volume, not sure if this will make a difference. Will probably take a while for IT to sort it out though. The Bluetooth config is very simple, nothing I can really change.

The only thing I can think of is that because the volume cannot be changed by using the radio controls, the BB volume is insufficient. Some cars you can also use the radio volume in conjunction with the Telephone controls, and this seems to boost the volume.

The other thing I have done is email Parrot to see if they can come up with a solution.
