Having recently completed a 6k miles trip through Europe in my spaceship i did a cheap quick and easy mod to my drivers seat and my back thanked me.

Lumbar support is one thing this car is MISSING so i decided to fix that.
Naturally i made a clip about it:

aaand my back did actually thank me:))
it totally made 8hour + drives manageable.

My last car was a BMW which had adjustable lumbar support including altering how high up the backrest was supported. No matter how I adjusted may back would complain after an hour or so.

My Civic seats are completely non-adjustable and I can drive for 3 hours without any pain. But I also do like little toys like this :grin2:

May investigate in the new year as I have a DAB aerial to sort out next job.

I don't have a problem myself it's for the wife.
At 5'4" and a back problem anyway she uses a firm pillow when we go it the CTR.
She doesn't seem to have an issue in her 1.8 Si

This inspired me to do something similair, I went out bought a round 'pillow' works like a charm it is just enough to get some support. But the backcover basically has 4 places where it is held together with the seat and 3 out of 4 broke... not the parts that can be replaced but the back cover itself...

Bought the pump up pillow for the wife.
She uses it the the Si loose behind her back and loves it.
Still uses the firm cushion in the CTR 'cos the seats are different shape entirely.
