From in the Garmin App select: Settings > Map & Vehicle > myMaps and the map version will be shown.

From 2019 version you should see 4 items in the list including North and South Maps

If you did it through Garmin Express, it will be the latest version (2019 -1)

Thanks. All fine. I had downloaded a version of the document but it was different from the one you have given link for and said nothing about checking versions so thanks for the right document also.

Downloaded ok installed update said ok. Now clock 1 hour behind and only the main roads shown. Booked into dealer as we are going to France and Spain at the weekend.

After dealer tried doing update we had the same issue luckily. I had a backup of the previous garmin update folder, dealer did factory reset and re installed old version now working. Dealer going to investigare when we come back from hols.

Updated mine a couple of weeks ago to update my speed cams (don't ask) and all went OK with 2020-01 maps.

2020 Now available

I am downloading map update 2020 now from Garmin Express.
This will be my first update since the car is 1 year old.
It says it will take 2 hours to download to my USB drive.
I may be a while......

Off memory it said late 2020. My car is a September 2018 build.

Yes all went well in the car. About 15 to 20 minutes with the ignition on Auxiliary (I didn't run the car engine as the instructions advised, as the power drain seemed negligible to me)

It should say something like 4 or 5 years hence.

In my case it is 5 years after my first update.

No one tried to overwrite old maps with unlocked maps?
