Hi lads

Can't get to a garage until Monday so asking here for a bit of advice before I go and get charged silly money I'm sure.

Civic was fine this morning, went and filled up with petrol started car and it made a metal sounding noise near the rear, this happened again at lunch when I started her up, this evening it's done the same but I've noticed if I crawl in first or reverse the noise is a lot more prominent.

I thought it may be to do with weight of fuel but never had this issue before. It doesn't happen at anything other than 1st and reverse and I've gone over bumps to listen for more noise but it's as normal....

Any ideas? Oddly at idle I think my engine sounds quieter 馃槙

I had this a few weeks ago and it was the heat shield at the back just slide under the rear and you'll soon see it

Good that is was nothing serious.

Welded back on, really?

Heat shields are usually thin tin plates...
