As you will see from my other 'weird' electrical and warning light posts - I am thinking it might be an issue with the internal fuse/relay box.
If I source a replacement - will it need coding to the car?
If it does need coding to the car, is there anything/anybody who can do this.... Or is it a main dealer thing?

2006 civic diesel.

Thanks again all..

Anybody know if this is the case - the 'body computer' is included in replacement key/ecu sets, does that mean it includes the immo codes and need programming to the car/key?

But you can buy the fusebox/body computer/MICU separately..

TIA

To answer my own question and after changing the search terms I was using.

The answer is YES, they do need programming to the car.

Just seen this.

On the Accord the part number of the MICU corresponds to the build spec.. I am aware of people successfully getting a replacement MICU from a breaker with the same part number, but obviously this could be very difficult if the car was a rare build spec., or had certain optional extras.
