Hi guys, just a quick question.

I'm looking at getting the mugen vented bonnet, can you buy the vent rain guards separate? Or is it an all in one piece moulded in the bonnet itself?

This is the bonnet I'm talking about.

I think it's all one piece moulded in the bonnet itself. I say that because the mugen bonnet for my FD2 is like that.

They are not one piece moulded

they are removable

I don't know, I would ask one of the Mugen suppliers

I'd imagine it would depend:

If you already had one of their bonnets and wanted to replace something that had got damaged, I'm sure they would supply if they could

If you want them to put on a copy bonnet, I'm sure the answer will be no, irrespective of whether they can, and rightly so IMO....

Just trial and error really, thought as I got the spare bonnet I'll give it a try. I'm sure if I manage to do it I'll post photos

you can also buy mesh from places like ebay. different styles to choose from and it costs less than a tenner. cut what you need and fix it to the underside somehow?

i just did a search on ebay for "vent mesh" and there's plenty.
