My car all polished

Just washed it again and polished it with autogym high gloss

Sorry have no mods other than cvinfo sticker and xcarlink

Can anyone help me with how to get rid of swirly mark on drivers front wing and drivers door at bottom. I inherited the marks

Passenger mirror plastic thats painted is tucked into the black plastic housing

Hi there dude... Get some good protection applied by means of a wax or sealant to protect your paintwork otherwise all your effort polishing will be in vain as it will just wash off over the next few weeks :)

Thanks TLC I only ever used polish what should is used, I am price conscience so cant be too high

The car was coated when I got it with something it has a sticker on the windscreen to say what it was auto gard

Supra Guard with a doubt, it is sadly one of the biggest wastes of money anyone can purchase at the dealerships. Its a money making machine.

Get yourself some Collinite 915 Marque D'Elegance if you don't want to spend much money. The durability is superb... :)

I just noticed left some wax on plastic in last picture lol I was in a rush to get it done before it rained. I have to go out tomorrow and give quick wipe. I noticed when it rained it water left droplets. I polished car 3 times since I got it in Sept 2010 and wash it every week

Do I need a sealant if I use Collinite 915 Marque D'Elegance and also a clay bar?

Sorry I am new to detailing I do polish a lot but its autoglym

quick procedure for ya mate

wash
de-tar
wash
clay
polish
ipa wipedown
sealant or wax - but you can use both bearing in mind sealant first then wax on top

Thanks any advice on the swirly bit and mark will touch up paint work or can I get one of those guys round that fixes small jobs.

the swirly bit could be corrected by a da or rotary machine polisher as for the scratch then as you say touch it in or get the mobile services in to do it

Managed to fix the mirror by carefully pulling the outer painted sleeve back out with flat nosed screwdriver
