Hi Guys

I want to know if this routine sounds good as I want to ideally move away from some of my AG products.
Im thinking of picking up the odd few products this weekend or today.
Things to pickup:
• AF Citrus Power
• Z2
• Recommendations of Buffing Cloths or mitts?
• Wolfs Chemical Decon – Which bottles are good for this?
• Anything else Z6? Or Z8?
I havent used my AF Lather yet, but hear very good things, still got AG Bodywork Shampoo and Megs Wash and Wax.

1. Rinse
2. AF Citrus Power
3. Rinse
4. Wash with AF Lather (2 Bucket Technique)
5. Wheels with Decon Gel (Leave for 10 mins is that enough?)
6. Jet Wash Wheels
7. Rinse
8. Dry
9. Clay
10. Apply Z2 – How long does it take to cure or develop to buff off?
11. Buff – Recommend me a cloth?
12. AG HD Wax – Which Applicators? How long to cure?
13. Buff and MF again
Anything else before or in between please recommend.

Then lets say the week after (the regular routine)
1. Rinse
2. Wash with AF Lather (2 Bucket Technique)
3. Wheels with something else not as harsh recommendations Bilberry?
4. Rinse
5. Dry
6. Then what…. Polish, Glaze, Sealant? More Wax? Z6? (this is where I need help)

dont dry your car then clay, leave it wet then clay as you need the lubrication of water for the clay to slide easy, what clay bar you got

Id do the wheels first personally

i would'nt polish every week or top up your wax or sealant otherwise it can start to look dull. I top up my wax/ sealant up every 3months and strip it every 6.I polish mine no more then 3 times a year which im hoping to lower now im getting some snow foam.

weekly wash step 6 i would just use a quick detailer rather then wax, glaze ect

Get the Bilt Hmaber or something else?

What are you applying the QD over?
Sealant or Wax?

Wax: Dodo Juice Red Mist Tropical
and/or Zaino Z8

bilt hamber regular or soft clay as you use water as the lube, you can add a bit of car shampoo to the water for a bit of slickness. good value too at about £12 for a 200g bar, just cut it into 6 and use a piece

If using AGHDW I would use AG Rapid Detailer, it works great. If you want a 95% full bottle I'll let you have it for a fiver at the MH meet?

Guys sorry a bit confusing I see.

The first steps are what I plan doing at every 6 months the second lot is for a weekly wash. What would you do in step 6.

Every week..
Rinse with a pressure washer
Apply Snow Foam
Rinse
Wash with Megs Gold Class Shampoo with a rinsing bucket
Rinse
Dry
Apply a QD (Red Mist or BH Hydra Wax because its so quick)

Tell me more about red mist why you like it.

It gives nice slick feel and shines really well but it must be used with a sealer to get the best from it...........the solvents can dissolve wax
OR
Get Red Mist Tropical which is better on Waxes as it contains no solvents
