Hi guys,

about a month ago I bought a ex-show car from dealer with about 700km on the clock and yesterday I went over 3000km. So far I'm really happy with it.

I've only had tints put in rear, but I'm also thinking about getting the lightest ones in the front. Although I'm not sure if I want to take the risk, as only transparent safety foil is road legal here... Other than that, I'm planning to have the wheels powder coated gloss black during the winter and to install aftermarket HIDs. But I'll go and check with dealer if that won't void my warranty or something.

This Tuesday I had it washed and waxed (Dodo Juice Supernatural) and I was so excited with the outcome, that I decided to show off a little [smilie=tongue.gif]
Unfortunately there was a very light rain just before I collected the car, so there's already a bit of dust on it.

The new civic certainly is growing on me and does look nicer than the standard older shape.
Very nice car you have there :)

F**K! F**K!!!! :mad::mad: I got a first dent on a car barely 30 minutes after I started this thread!!!
Some blonde in her 20s with loads of make-up and horrible fake sun tan was getting out of rusted, 10 year old crap Skoda and she opened her door just a little bit too much...

It's seriously unbelievable how some people just totally oblivious and ignorant. And this is the reason why I refused to buy a brand new car ever since I got my driving licence. But hey, I park quite far from my apartment so I wouldn't have to park next to other cars, I started taking bus ([smilie=puker.gif]) to work instead of parking in full car park, when I go to supermarket I park as far as I can from entrance... But NO! 6 weeks and 2 days was all the time that it could stay untouched....

Fortunately I have fully comprehensive insurance and even she had basic insurance, so hopefully it will get fixed soon and I won't have to pay for her stupidity.

I know it isn't a big dent, definitely not proportional to how FURIOUS I am, buy I just had to vent a little. Sorry for the rant :(

:mad: I feel for you.

Had mine about 6 weeks now and dread when I come back from doing my shopping and there is a car parked next to me.

Anyway love the car and hope you get it sorted soon.

ouch!!! i feel your anger and pain. i have my new civic 4 months now and not a mark or a stone chip yet. anyone who comes anywhere with me say they would have being as quick walking because i park so far away in a carpark, and if im stuck for space i will look for the good clean (expensive) cars which are obviously well minded to park beside. bet you find yourself constantly looking out at it now from different angles, i went through that with the ding i got on my previous civic:(
