Hi all,
Just thought I'd share with you my experience with the wiper motor problem, ie wiper going crazy and not responding to any command with the stalk and stopping in silly places.
I took scuttle panel off to do a fix I read about however I noticed that the channels where water would drain away where all totally blocked with muck and twigs etc. So I cleaned all this away and pulled the connector off the wiper motor and sprayed a lot of electrical cleaner on the connector. Both the plug and the wiper motor.
A few months on and no problems since.
