Hello

So I got a replacement battery recently, ordered a fairly cheap one (Specifically this one: https://www.tayna.co.uk/car-batteries/powerline/048/ )

It turns out its a wet-cell battery. Which I have not had before. And so I just wanted to check, is there any reason as to why I shouldn't use this? Apparently some cars can't properly charge wet cell batteries?

And secondly, how frequently do you need to check the fluid levels in a battery?

Thanks!

Unless you have just started driving you will have had a wet cell battery before. In fact the only batteries I know of that arent(and yes im very sure there are loads) is from Optima and its doubtful you've had a car with one of those. As for checking the cells for water, once a year will be more than enough. Some wet batteries allow you to check them, some dont.
