The front and back are very successful IMO. Shades of the CT200h. Middle is bland, granted...

Each to their own, but I do not find it as pleasing to the eye as the 9th gen.

Not dissimilar to the yaris, better looking than the 9th gen and if the build quality is as good as the yaris then will be a very solid car

Looks like the Hyundai at the back. Also looks like they copied the 9G head lights.

The one BIG drawback for me is that Toyota no longer supply handbrakes. They have their 'parking brake' as a foot operated, pseudo 'clutch' pedal.

It is a very uncomfortable thing to operate and I found myself banging my left knee on the underside of the steering wheel every time, plus you need to twist in your seat. This is why you sit behind Toyota's at traffic lights getting a face full of brake lights (and Mercs).

It does look like the ct200h and if it has the same suspension setup then will be very hard.

As with the 9th Gen, the proportions look all over the place.

Clearly with car design nowadays, the aesthetics are left more and more to a computer. [smilie=thumbsdown.:

Probably more down to aero effciency and crash test reasons than CAD per-se. The design aesthetics are still within the bounds of industrial designers, there are just compromises to be made.

Not bad. Just hope the build is better than the current one.

Well, it is a step up in design from the 'old' Auris in my opinion, but to say it looks nice would be a bit too optimistic. I'd prefer a 9th gen Civic over this, even with the ugly rear light cluster and dreadful rear wiper.
