Hi all,

I currently drive a Civic Type R (EP3) and love it too pieces... but due to a change of job and the need to commute, I'm now looking for a diesel...

I've had a quick browse in the 'for sale' sections and the FN2 Type S and ES model have caught my eye (maybe with that 2.2 litre engine and a cheeky remap, I might not miss my EP3 too much )....

What would you guys recommend?

Hi and Welcome you will find a number of users on here with the type S diesel. They seem to be a good choice for Sporty but economical ride. If you check out the wiki on the Type S you will be able to see its specs etc.

Im sure it wont be long before one of the derv guys comes on to tell you how they love there car. Good luck finding the right car for you but sounds to me like The type S GT 2.2 with a re-map will be the one for you.

hello and welcome... im on theborders of london and kent!
i had an ep3 then went to a hybrid fd shape civic but now have a remapped 2.2 and ido not miss the ep3 .... was definatley a good car but the 2.2 has so much torque i love it..!
