Hi there, I'm Ish from the West Midlands.

I've had my civic for just over 2 years now and loving it. It's got just shy of 150k miles on the clock and runs perfect. My first car was a Civic 1.6 ep2 and loved that too but wanted a turbo and bigger engine so moved onto this.

Since owning it:

Stage 1 mapped roughly 200BHP
Custom dual exit exhaust
Big Front mounted intercooler (Custom water jets to cool down intercooler)
Cold Air Induction kit
EBC yellow stuff pads with MTec c-hooked discs
Bola B1 bronze 18" wheels
Meyle HD front anti roll bar links
Android Double DIN stereo, Uprated speakers
Tinted windows, lights and Green front fog lights lol
Clutch and Dual Mass Flywheel
Hella horns
Bright LED indicators/ position lights/ numberplate lights/ interior lights

Next I need a big mugen spoiler.
Definitely not lowering as the ride is firm enough and handles well with the 18" Bola B1's running 235/40/18. The bola's also fill the arches really well.
Hopefully I haven't missed anything.

£105 (for all bits including MAF sensor mounting tube) Cold Air Induction kit
£180 (fitted myself) EBC yellow stuff pads with MTec c-hooked discs
£290 (one off price purchased from a friend) Bola B1 bronze 18" wheels

Well I'm 25 and paying £1200 for the year. But I do have 2 claims so thats what reflects the price too.
I've heard from a few people that Adrian flux are good too for modified car insurance. Will get a quote from them on my renewal.

I've been meaning to join this site for a while to be honest. Today was the day.

And yes the colour on your car looks very similar to mine. I was going to get the 5 door like yours for practicality but preferred the sportiness of the 3 door Type S GT.
Plus I'm not sure if you can get the panoramic roof on the 5 doors

Cumbria? I've been there a few years back. Stayed for a few nights. The drive is amazing I love the roads there. Can't beat the roads and scenery

It is pretty spectacular on the eye, I patrol the M6 through the Lune Gorge, the scenery is stunning, although can be dangerous during the winter, one of my colleagues died on duty 6 years ago and his partner put in a wheelchair for life. ☹

Yes it is beautiful. You don't get those kinds of drives in the West Midlands. And thats really sad to hear mate. Sorry for your loss. Sometimes the most vesuvius things can be the most dangerous too.
