Some really exciting New Year News for you all ...Wooohoooo!!!

JRM Racing will be partnering with Honda to enter a single top-tier Le Mans Prototype (LMP1) car into the new FIA World Endurance Championship from 2012, which includes racing in the Le Mans 24hrs!

JRM are Sumo's parent company for all those not in the know!

It’s going to be a really exciting project, especially as the car (a Honda Performance Development ARX-03a to be precise!) is currently the most competitive petrol-engined Le Mans racer around.

Thanks to Honda’s dedicated team in California, the 3.5-litre naturally aspirated V8 engine has been completely designed and tested from scratch for this car, making it a really special engine!

Now a bit about the Championship – the FIA World Endurance Championship is an eight-round global endurance series which sees the greatest endurance machines race each other in multi-class multi-hour events. This means there will be cars from Le Mans winners right through to GT racers participating on the same track around the globe!

The tracks the series visits are equally impressive and include Silverstone, Sebring and Spa. And you may have noticed Le Mans – yes, the Le Mans 24hrs is on the calendar!!!

With success in GT1, JRM Racing aim to take this prestigious championship by storm right from the start.

I'll be keeping you all updated along the way as with any of our racing :)

Cazza!! x
