Hi

Im wondering if you guys can help.
I am suffering with the dreaded 'Bricked' White Screen with No image found on my unit.

I have managed to get the Garmindevice.xml off my unit by following the instructions provided by another user.
However when I insert the USB into my PC, Garmin Express finds the device as a 'Garmin Navigator' with a Unit ID but states it is not supported by this software.

Is there a possible fix for this or do I have to visit the dealer, luckily the car is still under warranty.

I contact Garmin support who was useless, even sent them screenshots and the file itself.

Any pointers appreciated!

Firstly have you tried the hard reset by pressing and holding the power button until it beeps?
It does sound like a failed unit. So recommend visit dealer. Don't mess.
Someone else had a problem of no maps but rest of unit worked ok (cd, radio, bluetooth). Unit was taken out and sent to Belgium for checking at Honda's expense. Took a bit of pressure on Honda for them to agree.

I have tried the hard reset and the factory reset a few times :frown2: No luck
Thinks its time for the dealer

I am having problem with downloading and creating the new software through the Garmin Express app onto my USB.
I managed to get the garmindevice.xml file of the unit

I managed to get the garmindevice.xml file of the unit
If the garmindevice.xml file is not correctly written to by the hu then Garmin Express will not recognise it and will not download maps.
