When I opened the trunk of my brand new Civic the trunklight didn't work. Strange for a new car. I released the glass and concluded it's not even wired! Am I the only one?

Ooer.
May as well take to dealer; but I'd have thought the connector is present - Just not plugged in; It has probably retreated behind the trim.

Couldn't find the connector with my fingers, I hope behind the trim.

I had this on my sport I purchased as a ex demo last year, found the light housing was non existant. When I rang the dealers to speak to the salesman was told he had left as had the sales manager and to take the car back to them to have a look. As it was a 70 mile round trip I ended up at the local scrappy and got one complete for £3 .sorted:grin2:

They take them out to preserve the battery.

It's when they have them on the forecourt/showroom with boot and bonnet open. My dealer disconnects the battery in the showroom.
