My heater fan is quite noisey on every setting. I meantioned it to my dealer when it was in for a service at the weekend and since I have an extended warranty he said that it sounds like the fan unit needs replaced. Of course, Honda have come back rejecting the claim suggesting its just dust in the unit.
How hard is it to get at the heater unit? Dealer is saying 1.5 hours to strip and replace. Don't really want to pay them the labour but at the same time if i could check it out myself we can see for sure that the noise isn't due to debris.
