Hi guys,

"Rev is an application for the iPhone and iPod Touch that monitors, displays, and records real-time vehicle data. By communicating directly with your vehicle's ECU via its OBD-II port, Rev is the first iPhone and iPod touch application to give you complete access to everything you want to know about your vehicle."

DevToaster - Rev - iPhone app development, Great iPhone apps, and more

Quick question - anyone fitted this and tried yet?

Wanna make sure it will work with our Civics before but :>

This is great.. I wonder if you can combine this bluetooth dongle with an aftermarket 2din screen.. Probably the Garmin sat nav is necessary..

Yes, as I understand it, it has to be a Garmin, and a Garmin with bluetooth.

That looks good.... a fairly cheap too (assuming the price is not hiked too much when it comes to the UK). I was looking for a bluetooth OBD2 App for the iphone, but so far all I could find were the WLAN (Wifi) ones.... Also, Griffin generally make very good quality products.

Well, I've just got my ELM327 (Bluetooth OBD2) and downloaded the paid Torque version. No trouble codes found, shows a reasonable amount of data in my brief test, but I think there's more to come with some fiddling with settings. I'm not sure how much the combination can interrogate at this stage.

Temperature, engine load, rpm on there. Nothing from fuel system yet (or ever...?) Boost/mainifold pressure/temperature were all there.

Sounds like basic OBD MIBs then - no manufacturer specific information.
Yes, that is what it is.

Some of the other products I linked to have some manufacturer specific data options, but only for US cars it seems.

The port is driver side, under the steering wheel nearest to the centre console, not far above where the carpet trim meets the plastic dash trim. At least I'm sure that's where mine is...

Yes my milestone can read the civic codes, fuel info is useless, throttle info is not available.

Coolant temp works
speed works
maf works
boost works

I think we need some custom PID (torque/settings/manage extended PID's).

Same on mine, so I guess they're confirmed more or less as all being there!

Only a basic suite of OBD parameters, Relic can you get more up on PC?
