Hi guys. I'm new to this website and I have a bit of a problem with picking correct offset to my FK1. I was looking around here but I couldn't find strate answer so I decided to create a new thread.

I want to but set of Japan Racing JR11 wheels in hyper silver. Size I'm looking at is 18x8.5 and this is where my problem starts. I have 2 offsets do chose from ET30 and ET40.

I was trying to understand that offset thing but I don't think I'm quite there. Can you please help me? What offset should I go for if my 18" wheels width is 8.5?

***** in advance guys.

Kind regards.
Bart.

Depends what the offset is on your oem wheels. The fn2 for example is et55 on a 7.5j rim. Using that as an example the et40 on an 8.5j rim means the outer side of the wheel will be 27mm further out compared to oem. 15mm on the offset plus 12mm on 50% of the rim difference ( half an inch or 12mm)

Where do I find my current rim sizes? Tyres are obv on the side, but where are the wheel sizes?
