hello

i had pretty much decided on castrol edge 0w30 but millers nano drive 5w40 seems to be getting rave reviews.

most oil websites and people on here seem to go with 0w30 but on type r owners forum, most were saying 5w40....

i don't do much mileage and don't track it so don't want to spend over the odds.....any advice ?...or will either do fine??

:popcorn2:

thanks

I've ordered some Millers Nanodrive 5w 40. Opie oils have it for only 55 quid, usually 70 i believe.

Make sure you ask for CIVINFO discount! PM the oilman!

For Type Rs I often recommend a 5w-40 as they can burn a drop if you like the VTEC and the 5w-40 burns off a bit slower than 0w-30.

Either grade is absolutely fine to use.

Cheers
