Oil Catch Tank vs Crankcase breather on its own!

I thought i would expand on the thread air intake pipes as it seemed to cause us to think alot about these!

Has anyone done this?

Is having just the crankcase breather going to cause an unbearable smell?

This is my setup.

The idea is to prevent oil gunk from the engine`s blowby to enter the intake manifold and eventually clogging the MAP sensor.
The tank and hoses cost me just 15 euro from the scrapyard.

Cheers mate I never thought to go down to a scrap yard!!!! Did you find your engine ran a little smoother or more economically with this??
Don't even waste your time and money. If you change your oil at recommended service intervals, you have no need for a catch can. It's just bling factor that's all.
No difference in engine output with this setup. It`s just to help me keeping the inside of the intake manifold clean.
I`m also running a Noswizard direct port nitrous kit on a 100 bhp shot and the catch tank setup is there to catch the oily gunk if the engine gives off blowby after my full blast nitrous passes.
