Hi guys,

So, I have a Balancer Shaft Delete Kit from TODA, wich comes with a FD2 "modified" oil pump.....

.... Now i also got a ERL Modified S2000 Oil Pump!!!!!

The S2000 pump, alows for a much higher Rev limit, ERL garantees a 10200 rpm safe!

I wouldnt rev that high, but +9000 would be nice. And 9000rpm on a stroked motor, i dont think the FD2 pump would go that far...

Need opinions from the Experts!! :p

Thanks

If I had all them sitting in front of me ready to fit into my motor that will be revving over 9000rpm, I would use the modified S2000 one if that helps ;)
Well... i do have both....!!

Even have the K24 oil pan to go with it.!

Looks like the TODA kit will be up for sale soon. . .

You can use the OEM oil Pan, but you have to modify it.

Best to use K24 Steel oil pan... also Honda K24 oil pump chain, tensioner.

And when I take the Toda pump, than any modifications? I know, I must take another plate.

here look at toda's kit, nothing about modify.

TODA RACING - Other Parts

All parts needed for fd2 oil pump swap are!

15100-rrc-003 pump assy., oil
13441-pcx-004 chain (64l)
13460-pnc-004 guide, oil pump chain
11221-pnc-000 plate, baffle

don't need to change the chain tensioner, it's the same on both fn2's/fd2's.

EP3 oil pump need some grinding to fit on K20Z4 block and its also cheaper than FD2's which make me thinks that casting is not the only difference and maybe reacts better on high revs.

Have you fitted a EP3 oil pump or any prictures from the grinding place?

Reviving old thread here, but incorrect about oil pump chain tensioner being the same for FN2 & FD2. They have different bolt pattens and FN2 RBC chain tensioner does not fit on RRC pump!!! I know this because fitted RRC pump recently and chain tensioner is different. Make sure you order ALL the below for RRC oil pump setup onto FN2.... :)

15100-rrc-003 pump assy., oil
13441-pcx-004 chain (64l)
13460-pnc-004 guide, oil pump chain
11221-pnc-000 plate, baffle
15650-rrc-004 gauge comp, oil level (dipstick)
13450-rrc-004 tensioner, pump chain rrc

Can RRC pump rev to 9000+ safely? RSP pump cavitates at 8800 I believe.

Many user of this forum have swaped to the FD2 pump without changing the tensioner...but what is when I have swaped to FD2 pump without changing the tensioner, so that I have the RBC??

@Micha: Just order all the above parts as I stated for complete hassle-free headache-free FD2 pump swap. The stock RSP oil pump tensioner does not fit onto the RRC pump unless slightly modified to fit the bolt hole pattern of RRC.
