I went out to fix my passengers door handle put everything on the seat closed the door to clean the handle and then the car locks all on its own and I'm left looking at my key on the passengers seat !
How can a button press itself ? ! ,
I tried all doors and boot , no alarm comes on like it should ,
I can't believe this is actually happening to me ,I live alone and a woman with zero knowledge , when I seen some post about a wire hanger and blown pouch or something like that ,

Is there anything I can do that will not cost me money I don't have ,
Mine is a civic 2.2 cdti 2007

I don't get why it would lock itself I'm going out of my mind

Auto lock if the driver's door has not been opened seems the likely cause.
As for a solution, I'm out of ideas. Presumably you only have the one key?

You'll need a rag, a screwdriver, wooden Door wedge and a length of wire. Take the rag and wrap it around the screwdriver. Go to the top of the door frame nearest the B Pillar and push it down between the window frame and the car body. Use the door wedge to hold the gap open and keep moving the wedge gently along the door frame until you get a big enough gap to use the length of wire to fish the key off the seat.
