Every now and again my passenger side door decides to start rattling when i go down bumpy road and where i live there are plenty it then goes away of its own accord and wondered if anyone knew what the problem was or if they had it before?

ive emptied the door side of any pens, bottles etc but it still continues .... can anyone help me

Check if its not the bottom of the seatbelt near the seat base as this can causing a rattling or knocking noise against the hard plastic down there.

Great idea mate! Its always happens when someone has been in my passenger seat it doesn't happen very often :/ haha
