Morning guys,

First post so hope i've put it in the right section.

Soo... Ive got an 08 plate 2.2 diesel. Over the last few weeks the car will be driving normally but every now and then when when i try to over take or accelerate slightly the PGM-FI light comes on and puts the car into limp mode so it wont rev above 2000rpm.
It normally happens when accelerating above 2500rpm.

I've notice that over the last few weeks when accelerating the turbo obviously whistles like normal but its developed a sort of blowoff sound when changing gear as its releasing the pressure.. Wonder if this would have something to do with it?

The PGM-FI light does go off after turning the car off for a minute or so and then will drive normally again.

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated
